Randy began his professional theatrical career as producer
of The Los Angeles premiere of Larry Kramer's landmark drama THE
NORMAL HEART which starred Academy Award winners Kathy Bates and Richard Dreyfuss. A 25 year career in theatre
includes world premieres, regional theatre productions, international theatre productions , a published playwright, and the
creation and development of new musical theatre including THE WILDEST
!!! HIP COOL AND SWINGING (author and director). Randy's musical
CONWAY TWITTY - THE MAN, THE MUSIC, THE LEGEND, premiered at The Tennessee Performings
Arts Center and played performing arts centers across the United States from October 2008 and continues touring to this day.
The show was also presented in a 45 minute version as the opening act for Country Music Legend George Jones in arenas and
theatres across the country.
Randy is the original producer of ALWAYS
PATSY CLINE, which came into national prominence on June 9, 1994 when it re-opened the historic Ryman Auditorium in
Nashville, Tennessee. The show ran to critical and audience acclaim in Nashville for 2 years. From 1989 to 1997 he produced
or co produced over 500 productions of the musical including the record-breaking 5 year run at the Denver Center and the Off
Broadway production at the Variety Arts Theatre. He also executive produced the MCA Cast Album of the show. During that
period of time, ALWAYS, PATSY CLINE was listed for 4 years straight in American Theatre Magazine as one
of the top 10 most produced plays in America. In 2006, Randy directed and choreographed the The West End Production
at the Savoy Theatre in London, England of the critically acclaimed SONGS
MY MOTHER TAUGHT ME - THE MUSIC OF JUDY GARLAND. Starring Lorna Luft accompanied
by a 30 piece orchestra and featured video duets with her mother the legendary Judy Garland. Regional Theatre credits
include productions of BEEHIVE, LEADER OF THE PACK (United States and Canada) , NITE CLUB
CONFIDENTIAL, ROCKY HORROR SHOW, THE PERSONALS, TEXAS CHAINSAW MANICURIST, THE TAFFETTA'S, and PSYCHO BEACH PARTY to name
a few... He is currently in development on 3 major theatre events scheduled to be produced
in 2010 - 2011
